BEHAVIOURAL AND PSYCHIATRIC SYMPTOMS OF DEMENTIA
Many people who have dementia and other psychiatric diagnoses often have challenging behaviours which can affect their quality of life, as well as their carers and family members. The Symptom Assessment Manager (SAM) is designed to easily monitor and track challenging behaviours using a validated and reliable measure, the Neuropsychiatric Inventory, using the internet as an interface. This idea was conceived by Dr Samantha Loi and developed by A/Professor David Darby.
